What is NIA Qatar ?

Qatar's National Information Assurance Policy (NIA), published by the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA), defines information security requirements for government entities and critical infrastructure in Qatar. NIA v3 includes over 80 controls covering security governance, risk management, asset security, access control, operations security, communications security, incident management, and business continuity. The framework is aligned with international best practices (ISO 27001, NIST) while incorporating Qatar-specific requirements.
